Sia by SI Technologies is operated by SI Technologies, LLC. This policy describes information handled by the Sia website at siabysi.com. Other SI products may have separate notices; choosing a Sia topic or workspace does not automatically give Sia access to another SI product or its records.
Information used by Sia
Sign-in information. Google and ChatGPT are the sign-in methods currently available. When you sign in with Google, Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, process your sign-in. Sia receives account identifiers and basic profile information, including your email address, verification status and name. Profile information held by the authentication provider may also include your Google profile picture. Sia uses account information to recognize you, maintain your session and associate saved chats with the appropriate account. Google sign-in does not request access to Gmail or Google Drive. Sia does not receive your Google password.
When you choose ChatGPT sign-in, the Sites authentication service provides account identity information used for the same account and saved-history functions. Separate existing accounts and their histories are not automatically merged. A conflicting sign-in may require you to sign out and choose one method. Apple sign-in and passkeys are not currently available.
Conversations and preferences. Sia processes the messages, images and other information you choose to submit. Signed-in chat history can include conversation text, replies, citations, unsent drafts, selected topics and interests. The current interface supports saving up to 20 chats. Without sign-in, the interface keeps conversation history in the current page rather than saving it to a Sia account; information you submit may still be processed by the providers described below.
Voice and images. If you use microphone features, audio is processed to provide transcription or voice interaction. Transcribed text can become part of your conversation and saved history. Text used for spoken replies is processed to generate audio. Images submitted with a question are processed to answer that question. The current saved-history format stores text and citations, rather than original image files or audio recordings.
Service records and browser storage. Sia maintains request identifiers, session identifiers, timestamps, request outcomes and usage information to operate the service and enforce limits. Restricted developer features also maintain action records. Authentication uses cookies or related browser storage. Some interface preferences, including custom action prompts, can be stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser data can remove those local preferences and sign-in state.
Providers and processing
Sia uses Supabase for Google account authentication; OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting and application storage; and OpenAI APIs for available AI conversation, image, transcription, speech and voice features. Information needed for a feature is transmitted to the providers supporting that feature. When web research is used, relevant queries are processed through the web-search capability.
The current conversation integration requests that OpenAI not store a response as an API response object. This setting does not mean that all provider retention, abuse-monitoring records or infrastructure logs are disabled. Provider processing is also governed by the applicable provider policies and service arrangements. Signing out or clearing Sia history does not itself erase records held by providers.
Sia uses Google account information for authentication, account operation and associated support. It does not use Google sign-in to read your email or files. Do not include passwords, access codes or sensitive personal records in a conversation.
Keeping and clearing information
Saved account history persists across visits. The current application does not apply an automatic age-based deletion schedule to account identities, saved history or operational request records.
The profile includes a Clear conversation history control. For a signed-in account, its cleared history must successfully save before the stored history is updated. Check the displayed save status; a save failure or a change in another tab can prevent that update. This control does not delete your sign-in account, operational records, provider records or backups. It is not a guarantee of immediate deletion from every system.
You can sign out, turn off voice features, change browser microphone permissions, clear browser storage, and manage the Google connection in your Google Account settings. Removing the Google connection does not itself delete information already held by Sia. Sia currently has no self-service control that deletes the entire account and all related records.
For questions or requests about access, correction or deletion, contact islandtimeproduction@gmail.com. Do not send passwords or authentication codes. We may need to confirm that a request relates to your account before taking action. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion deadline or that every category of record can be removed through the same process.
